Matt is great! I cannot believe how passionate he is about drumming and wanting to share his give with his students. My grandson enjoys every lesson. Matt has taught him for a few years and has been successful with him, due to his ability to adapt his way of teaching to fit with my grandson’s way of learning. He has patience and encourages my grandson to express himself with every lesson. We are truly lucky to have found such a talented teacher.

Matt has both a tremendous amount of drumming knowledge and a great ability to frame that knowledge in a way that I can understand. Matt’s passion for drumming and teaching always makes me look forward to my lessons with him and I feel lucky to have found him as a teacher.

Matt is a great instructor who puts together comprehensive and creative lessons that are diverse in genre and styles. He takes the time to teach you the written music and explains the history of the beats for a better understanding of what you’re playing. Matt is also willing to teach to your interests and what you want to play.

Matt is a great teacher! I’m sure I wouldn’t have gotten this far without him, he’s very flexible too. He is able to encourage and know what you might be doing wrong. He’s nice and cracks jokes often.
